Gilbert -1N is another very fine shaper tip (tied at 72.5 - 73 mm. on a Pisoni staple) - it is noticeably narrower than Gilbert 1 (and as a result somewhat more confining) but it easily keeps the pitch up. When you blow across the top of the bottle, the stream of air from your lips can be deflected up or down by the expanding and contracting air in the bottle. The Fox Renard is the way to go if you're not ready do spend REALLY serious money. All instruments have been recorded individually avoiding any crosstalk.
